Three Horizon Commercial Realty agents were recognized at Louisville Business First’s Commercial Real Estate Champions 2017 awards luncheon. Agents Mike DeHart, Steve Lennon and Nando Treviño were recognized for their work on projects and transactions that had large impacts on the community. More than 120 development projects were nominated for the awards, according to Business First.
DeHart and Lennon were honored for their work on the Steel Technologies LLC headquarters sale. The two agents represented Louisville Paving as buyer broker in the $3.6 million deal to purchase Steel Technologies’ former headquarters in May 2016. Louisville Paving relocated 75 employees to the Shelbyville Road site, which overlooks Valhalla Golf Course.
Treviño was recognized for his involvement with the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Louisville Downtown project, which won Best Hotel/Hospitality Project. The eight-story, 145-room hotel was constructed at 800 W. Market St. Dunn Hospitality Group developed the hotel. Treviño also represented Dunn Hospitality Group in the purchase of three vacant acres for about $1.8 million in October 2016.
Louisville Business First worked with a panel of local Certified Commercial Investor Members to review applications and selected honorees based on their innovation, importance, impact and overall “wow” factor.
