As Managing Partner of Hollenbach Oakley, John Hollenbach has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of Greater Louisville through some of the region’s most prominent commercial developments. His leadership has been instrumental in projects such as Blankenbaker Crossings, Eastpoint Business Center, Blankenbaker Station, Oldham Reserve, River Ridge Gateway Office Park, Simpsonville Commons, and Lynn Family Stadium – home of Louisville City FC. Collectively, Hollenbach Oakley’s developments span more than 3,500 acres and represent over $2.5 billion in investment, supporting thousands of jobs and transforming communities.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, John earned his degree in Marketing and Business Administration before launching his career in Cincinnati and ultimately returning to his hometown to make a lasting impact in commercial real estate.
John is deeply engaged in civic and professional leadership. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisville Economic Development Alliance (LEDA), the University of Louisville Board of Trustees, and Impetus for a Better Louisville. His past board service includes roles with the Louisville City FC Board, Louisville Arena Authority, Louisville Sports Commission, German American Bank, Building Industry Association of Louisville (BIA), and the Olmsted Parks Conservancy. He is also a graduate of both Leadership Louisville and the Bingham Fellows program, and has received multiple awards including being a multi-year Louisville Business First Power 50 honoree and a recipient of the March of Dimes Real Estate Achievement Award (REACH) for his significant impact in the real estate industry and commitment to community philanthropic efforts.
