Mike DeHart is Principal Broker at Horizon Commercial Realty, bringing more than 23 years of experience in sales, leasing, and property management. He leads brokerage strategy and client representation efforts across Kentucky and Indiana.
Throughout his career, Mike has represented a wide range of clients and built a strong track record in both landlord and tenant representation. Prior to joining Horizon, he worked with a well-respected local brokerage firm and gained additional leadership experience as a National Accounts Representative with a national automotive company and later as Sales Manager for a national consumer products company.
Mike is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in both Kentucky and Indiana and a member of both CCIM and SIOR. He is a member of the Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Alliance (KCREA) and the Louisville Downtown Partnership, and previously served as a member of ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) and the Louisville Chapter of Rotary International. He also previously served as Chair of the Spalding Athletic Committee.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Mike earned his Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language and International Economics. He also served 11 years in the United States Military as a certified Russian Linguist. His professional excellence has been recognized with multiple honors, including being a two-time CoStar Top Power Broker award recipient, Top Office Leasing Broker (2017), and Top Retail Leasing Broker (2012).
